It’s nice to meet you.
Throughout my life I have been deeply connected to and moved by the human experience. This curiosity in empathy has grounded me in listening, observing, and asking questions. I grew up living across the U.S. and eventually found myself studying, working, and living abroad in South America and Asia. As my experience of the world got bigger my connection to and understanding of individuals became clearer. I value diversity in thought, experience, and learning and I find myself continually grateful for the opportunity to work closely with others as they navigate their journey.
I have a Masters in Social Work from Portland State University and I attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where I received a B.A. in Global Studies.
In addition to operating this small private therapy practice, I have worked at an integrated healthcare center in a higher education setting since 2019. Prior to this, I dedicated over 10 years to working at a local, Santa Barbara nonprofit organization, where I provided direct service, program development, and executive leadership focused on supporting the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable youth, young adults, and families in the Santa Barbara community. I continue to volunteer in this capacity today.
I am based in Santa Barbara and I enjoy spending my free time outdoors in nature and finding humor in the little things.
I look forward to connecting with you.
